With the aid of two Flyers, Team Canada continued to roll Thursday.

Goalie Carter Hart and center Sean Couturier helped Canada outlast France, 5-2, in the IIHF tournament in Slovakia.

Canada has won three straight since losing to Finland in an opening-round game.

Anthony Mantha scored a pair of goals for Canada, which is coached by the Flyers’ Alain Vigneault.

Couturier had an assist and played a strong all-around game and was named his team’s MVP.

Hart stopped 21 of 23 shots and is now 2-0 in the tourney. He blanked Britain, 8-0, in his first World Championship appearance and now has a .943 save percentage in two games.

“You have to find ways to stay focused when there’s not a lot of action,” Hart told reporters.

Hart has been dividing duties with Penguins goalie Matt Murray.

“Murray’s done a good job for us, and whatever happens, happens,” Hart said of the goalie rotation. “I’m here to support the team.”

Canada (3-1) has nine points, three behind Germany (4-0) in Group A. The teams will meet Saturday at 10 a.m. (NHL Network).

“We need to be ready, and I think it’s going to be a hard matchup,” said Mantha, who had 25 goals for the Detroit Red Wings this season and leads Canada with nine points (five goals, four assists).

Flyers defenseman Phil Myers, who was added to Canada’s roster because of an injury to Brandon Montour, made his first tournament appearance. “My legs felt OK,” Myers told TSN in Canada.
