Conshohocken, which has all sorts of dining options, now has a poke shop with the addition of PokeOno at 103 Fayette St.

PokeOno, which opened first in Ardmore three years ago followed by a Baltimore branch, specializes in the Hawaiian raw-fish dish.

On its grand opening on Aug. 15, bowls will be discounted 50 percent.

Owner Andrew Danieli, who grew up in Absecon, N.J., got turned on to poke during a surfing trip to Hawaii. He learned to make his own and started selling it at street fairs and farmer’s markets. Then came the decision to open a storefront.

Customers go to the counter to order bowls on white rice, brown rice, and mixed greens, to which they add tuna, salmon, shrimp, or tofu, and then add sauces, veggies, and toppings.

Hours: 11-9 p.m. daily,
