Thursday’s South Jersey roundup: Maddie McCracken leads Wildwood girls' basketball past Pennsville

Maddie McCracken recorded 27 points, 7 rebounds, 6 steals and 3 assists to lead the Wildwood girls' basketball team past Pennsville, 61-36, on Thursday. Imene Fathi notched 13 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and two steals.

Sierra Morris scored 15 points in Lindenwold’s 33-17 victory over Paulsboro.

Nisea Burrell scored 11 points as Westampton Tech defeated Burlington Township, 40-32. Brianna McNair drained two treys to record 10 points.

Sara Peretti’s 36 points helped Hammonton edge Deptford, 63-53, in overtime. Jada Thompson added 18 points.

Wildwood Catholic downed Cape May Tech, 60-36, behind Gabby Turco’s 15 points. Marianna Papazaglou scored 12 points and Adrianna Gray-Rivera tallied 10.

Marlee Syer scored 12 points and Latanya Berry notched 11 to guide Sterling past Audubon, 55-43.

Deanna Corsetti scored 14 points in West Deptford’s 52-49 overtime win against Haddon Heights. Devin Sullivan and Anna Wright added 11 points apiece.

Delaney Drummey recorded a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds as Pitman defeated Schalick, 40-34. She also had three blocks. Olivia Nolan notched 13 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals and 1 block.

Williamstown topped Cumberland, 50-29, behind Danielle Jeffrey’s 17 points.

Boys' Basketball

Davon Thornton recorded 26 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block as Overbrook defeated Gateway, 63-42. Julian Durr notched a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. He also had eight assists and one steal.

Ryan Ems and Andrew Heck tallied 15 points apiece to lead Eastern past Seneca, 64-53. Colin Prendergast scored 12 points and Noah Klinewski added 10.

JP Rickus and Chad Howard each scored 12 points to help Cinnaminson beat Burlington Township, 59-45.

Steve Matlack drained four three-pointers in Lenape’s 56-51 victory over Washington Township. Anthony Cortese added 11 points and Connor Kennedy had 10.

Ocean City topped Holy Spirit, 68-59, behind Donovan Graham’s 22 points. Luke Varallo scored 13 points, and Joey Sacco and Gannon Brady each notched 11 points.

Jagger Zrada and Ben Cantwell scored 16 points apiece as Moorestown beat Pennsauken, 66-36. Nick Cartwright-Atkins tallied 11 points.

JayShawn Harvey’s 19 points guided Woodbury past Haddon Township, 66-63, in double overtime. Isaiah Bailey scored 14 points and Tommy Carter had 11.

Gavin Clark netted 12 points in Sterling’s 37-35 win against Audubon.

Ryan Heine’s 19 points helped Shawnee down Cherry Hill West, 69-45. Connor Deveney and Cole Fleming added 14 points apiece.
