Jahlil White notched 23 points and Taj Thweatt tallied 22 to help the Wildwood Catholic boys’ basketball team beat Eastern, 60-51, on Sunday. The victory extended the Crusaders’ win streak to 17 games.

Camden lost to Newark East Side, 63-53, despite a 23-point performance in the fourth quarter. Jerome Brewer and Taquon Woodley scored 13 points apiece for the Panthers.

Isaiah Bailey’s 17 points led Woodbury past Holy Cross in overtime, 52-48. JayShawn Harvey added 10 points.

St. Joe’s topped Delcastle Tech, 73-46, thanks to Marcellus Ross’ 24 points. The Caldwell College recruit is 22 points away from the 2,000 career point mark. Ian Brown notched 13 points and Yamere Diggs had 11.

Girls’ basketball

Deanna Corsetti scored 14 points as West Deptford defeated Timber Creek, 50-32. Devin Sullivan and Anna Wright each added 10 points.
