Former NBA players Stephen Jackson and Baron Davis are slated to coach the teams on Friday. Jackson’s Team Loyalty features notable high school stars such as Cole Anthony, Nico Mannion, Precious Achiuwa and Jaden McDaniels.

Davis’ Team Honor features top-rated high school players such as Anthony Edwards, Kahlil Whitney and CJ Walker.

Last year’s game featured point guard Jahvon Quinerly, wing Brandon Slater and Shareef O’Neal, a power forward and the son of Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal. Team Loyalty beat Team Honor, 148-134, and O’Neal’s thunderous first-quarter dunk drew oohs and aahs from the crowd.

The week kicks off on Monday, April 22, with the Play By Play Invitational, a regional all-star game of 15 local players and nine major Division I prospects from around the country. That game is set for 7 p.m. Doors are to open at 5:30.

Abington forward Eric Dixon, headed to Villanova and the Inquirer’s 2018-19 boys’ player of the year, headlines the local team for Monday’s game. Four-star point guard Tyrell Jones, an Auburn recruit from West Oaks Academy (Fla.), is one of the national stars to compete.

The local coaches will be Sean Colson of Martin Luther King, Jim Donofrio of Plymouth Whitemarsh, Bernie Rogers of the Haverford School and Kevin Funston of Bonner-Prendergast.

Tickets for that game are available at Souderton, the door on Monday and www.playbyplayclassics.com

In addition to the games, fans can visit Souderton on Wednesday, April 24, for a three-point shootout by the high school stars (6:15 p.m.), a one-on-one challenge (6:50), a dunk contest (7:30) and a three-on-three challenge (8:30).

On Thursday, a free skills and drills clinic will be offered to the public from 3 to 4 p.m. at Philadelphia’s Overbrook High School. Iverson, the former 76ers great, is also set to be recognized with a resolution by the Philadelphia City Council.
