Ten local players are listed on Pennsylvania’s Big 33 all-star football game roster

The game, set for May 27 at 2 p.m. at the Central Dauphin School District’s Landis Field, features all-star players from Pennsylvania playing a team from Maryland.

The rosters for the 62nd Big 33 Football Classic were announced on Thursday, and a handful of local players were listed on the Pennsylvania team.

The game, set for May 27 at 2 p.m. at the Central Dauphin School District’s Landis Field, features all-star players from Pennsylvania playing a team from Maryland. Maryland won last year’s game, 9-6, to end a three-game Pennsylvania winning streak.

Local players on the Pennsylvania roster this year are Coatesville running back Aaron Young, Conwell-Egan running back Patrick Garwo, Imhotep receiver Yusuf Terry, Coatesville offensive lineman Ricky Santiago, Haverford School offensive lineman Asim Richards, Malvern Prep linebacker Keith Maguire, St. Joseph’s Prep linebacker Myles Talley, Imhotep defensive back Tykee Smith, Penn Charter defensive back Edward Saydee, and St. Joseph’s Prep athlete Marques Mason.

Imhotep Charter coach Nick Lincoln will serve as an assistant coach for Pennsylvania.
