McKenzie Tobler laced a double, a triple, and scored two runs Tuesday as the Nazareth Academy softball team clinched the Catholic Academies title with a 13-6 triumph over Villa Maria. The Pandas broke the game open with a nine-run sixth inning on seven hits. Juliana Nocito added a double and an RBI for the victors.

Victoria Slook stroked the game-winning RBI single in the home seventh to lift Archbishop Ryan over Archbishop Carroll, 6-5. Slook singled home Sarah Vargas, who also delivered an RBI single to tie the game earlier in the inning. Vargas added two more hits as Meghan Kidd and Ava Brakoniecki each doubled for the Ragdolls.

Abby Quinn smacked two doubles and had two RBIs as Penn Charter blanked Germantown Academy, 8-0. The Quakers have clinched a share of the Inter-Ac title.

Grace Jackson struck out nine to carry Notre Dame over Baldwin, 4-1. Marissa Bruno contributed with a two-run home run in the second inning.

Abigail Penjuke homered and drove in two runs as Methacton topped Upper Merion, 7-4. Nichole Dorn and Kathryn Hamilton each doubled and had two RBIs for the Warriors.

Madison Meidt laced a pair of doubles and got the win on the mound to lead Masterman over String Theory, 15-4.

Rebecca Cassel-Siskind hit two triples and a double as Science Leadership outlasted Engineering and Science, 28-18. Lily Prendergast, Hannah Flanagan, and Ashley De La Cruz each hit a double for the Rockets.

Rose Luciano went 3-for-4 with a double and four RBIs as Washington defeated Bodine, 21-8. Kiara Reynoso added three hits and four RBIs while Keidy Valdez went 4-for-5 with three RBIs for the Eagles.

Baseball

Nick D’Agostino hit the go-ahead RBI single in the visiting seventh as Lincoln edged String Theory, 5-4. D’Agostino, who also earned the save, brought in Elijah Garcia, who started the inning with a double. Victor Mejia also contributed two doubles for the Railsplitters.

Pat Elliott hit the game-winning single as Springside Chestnut Hill walked-off over Malvern Prep, 2-1.

Brooks Ey struck out 11 and allowed four hits over six innings in Central’s 8-2 victory over Frankford.

Eli Kushner delivered with two RBIs as Germantown Friends beat Moorestown Friends, 7-3, in the Friends School League first round. Kai Cummings got the win and doubled, and Caleb Friedman-Spring pitched three scoreless innings of relief.

Nick Bitsko went 2-for-3 with a double, a home run, and two RBIs in Central Bucks East’s 10-2 victory over Quakertown. Jack Nugent added a double, a triple, and scored three runs while Anthony Yermolov allowed five hits and struck out five.

Jordan Bingham helped himself to a win with a triple and a home run as GAMP cruised past Northeast, 21-4. Sam Coffin, Christian Ramos, and Jaden Kelly each doubled for the Pioneers.

Austin Alcorn drove in the game-winning run with a single as Bishop McDevitt knocked off Friends Select, 5-4. Eric Wilson went 3-for-4 with a double for the Lancers.

Phila. Academy Charter scored five runs in the final two innings to rally to beat Boys’ Latin, 6-4. Shane McWilliams doubled and had the go-ahead RBI for the victors.

Ben Weaver smacked a double and a triple as Plumstead Christian took down Collegium Charter, 24-4. Ben Read got the win and doubled for the Panthers.

Joe Bonini had three hits and two RBIs as Haverford School held off William Penn, 12-9. Christian Sarian ended the game with two outs and the base loaded in the home seventh with a leaping catch at the wall.

Brody Moyer pitched a shutout and homered as Dock Mennonite rolled past Calvary Christian, 14-0.

Boys’ Tennis

Masterman defeated Central, 5-0, to win the Public League title on Tuesday. Jonathan Nottingham, Kailash Natarajan, and Manus Narula each represented Masterman’s singles teams. Jacob Luterman and Nalin Khanna and Andrea Ngiela and Andrew Rizzo-Reidy represented the Dragons’ doubles teams. Nottingham, who is the defending PIAA Class 2A champion, defeated Central’s Xu Chen in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0.

Girls’ Lacrosse

Claire Gola led Notre Dame with three goals in a 13-3 win over Baldwin. Mikayla Dever, Georgie Gorelick, and Maggie O’Brien each contributed two goals for the Irish.

Emily Pugliese recorded a game-high five goals as Science Leadership defeated Frankford, 13-7. Rianne Delos Reyes chipped in three goals for the Rockets.

Lizzie Paterno netted three goals in Academy of New Church’s 11-8 triumph over George School. Becca Clark added two goals for the Lions.

Amber Germer led all scorers with five goals as Archbishop Carroll defeated Cardinal O’Hara, 18-5. Madison Henry, Kellie Anne Matey, and Kiley Mottice added three goals apiece for the Patriots.

Sarah Blaney and Sarah Hartigan each scored five goals in St. Hubert’s 17-3 decision over Franklin Towne Charter. Emma McNamee and Sarah Spaeth had two goals apiece for the Bambies.

Madi McKee finished with six goals as Garnet Valley routed Penncrest, 18-4. Olivia Brenner added three goals for the Jaguars while Sierra McLaughlin and Mak Butler combined to make seven saves.
