Woman, 65, killed in vehicle accident in Bucks County

A 65-year-old woman was killed Tuesday afternoon in a vehicle accident in Bucks County, police said.

The woman was driving a GMC Acadia in the 700 block of Durham Road in Buckingham Township when the SUV veered into a retaining wall.

Emergency responders tried to save the woman, whose name was not released, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was hurt.

The cause of the accident was under investigation.
