On Sunday night, news broke that NBA legend Kobe Bryant, 41, and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, were among the nine people who died in a helicopter crash outside Los Angeles. The loss of Bryant, who attended Lower Merion high school, where he gained fame on the court as a young player, shook fans around the country.
