Police-involved crash in Kensington; two officers, one civilian injured

Police said two officers and one civilian were injured when a patrol car responding to a call struck a vehicle in the 700 block of East Tioga Street in Kensington on Sunday morning.

The officers had their lights and sirens on as they traveled on East Tioga Street and entered the intersection on F Street, where their vehicle struck the civilian vehicle, police said.

The two officers, from the 25th District, and a civilian in the second vehicle were taken by medics to Temple Hospital after the crash. Police said the medical conditions of the three people were unknown. Their names were not released.
