Sixers to sign Wilbekin

LAS VEGAS - Scottie Wilbekin is scheduled to sign a partially guaranteed, four-year contract with the 76ers on Wednesday, according to league source. RealGM first reported he had agreed to sign with the franchise, but did not disclose the day of the signing.

Wilbekin played with the Sixers in the NBA Summer League here. He will be the fifth point guard on the roster, joining Tony Wroten, Isaiah Canaan, Pierre Jackson and T.J. McConnell.  Wilbekin, who can also play shooting guard, was also a member of the Orlando Magic White team at the Orlando Pro Summer League earlier this month.

The 6-foot-2, 176-pounder averaged 14.4 points and made 15 of 34 three-pointers (44.1 percent) in his five summer-league games here in Vegas. He also has made all nine of his foul shots while averaging 2.0 assists and 1.6 steals in 27 minutes.
