Ukee Washington is becoming a regular in M. Night Shyamalan's movies.

The CBS3 nighttime anchor has a cameo in the Philadelphia-shot Split, Shyamalan's next thriller starring James McAvoy as a psychopath with multiple personalities who kidnaps three young women and holds them captive in a basement. Former CBS3 anchor Robin Rieger also has a cameo in the movie.

Split hits theaters this Friday.

Washington, a big movie buff, has appeared in three previous Shyamalan joints: Signs (2002), Unbreakable (2000) and The Happening (2008). He was also a regular on the Philly-set show Hack, World War Z, and the Robin Williams-starring The Crazy Ones. Rieger is a TV vet herself, appearing in Netflix's The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt as — what else? — a TV news reporter.

Washington isn't the only member of his family who is on the big screen. His cousin is Denzel.

Here's the trailer for Split.
