The lineup for the annual Light of Day benefit concert, supporting efforts to combat Parkinson's disease, included Garland Jeffreys, John Eddie, Willie Nile and Joe Grushecky, among others. But as tradition would have it, Bruce Springsteen made an appearance at Asbury Park's Paramount Theatre on Saturday night.

Unofficially headlining 11 out of the last 15 Light of Day concerts, Springsteen drew close to 3,000 local and international visitors to the New Jersey city, according to the Asbury Park Press.

Playing until nearly 2 a.m., Springsteen's appearance included a collaboration with Willie Nile on "One Guitar," wandering amongst the crowd, acoustic renditions and a sing-along of "Thunder Road."
