"It's been 10 years," the duo said of the tour via a release. "We are heading out to see our chips across the USA and celebrate this incredible decade of Tim and Eric with a number of new spoofs and goofs, riffs and bits, songs and dances and hope to create memories to last a lifetime."
The pair's exceedingly odd (though, not for them) tour promo video can be viewed below:
Heidecker and Wareheim got their start after meeting in 1994 at Temple University, where they were both film majors. The duo launched TimandEric.com in 2002, and had a series, Tom Goes to the Mayor, picked up by Adult Swim shortly thereafter for their first hit.
"I was working for Urban Outfitters at the time, shooting their website models and hating life," Wareheim told Variety in 2014 of the duo's early days. "I was working with these horrible girls every day and when we got that call that we got like three grand or something to move (back to L.A.), I said, '[expletive] you guys. I quit.' The next week, Tim and I were on the cover of Philadelphia Weekly."
Tim and Eric had a breakthrough success following that series with Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, which later opened the door for a feature film, Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie, and a spinoff series, Tim and Eric's Bedtime Stories. The pair also operates Abso Lutely Productions, production company they started in 2007.
