Eat lunch at 1989 prices at Pineville Tavern

The Abruzzese family bought the inn in 1989, so...

In 1989, Andrew Abruzzese and family acquired the circa-1742 Pineville Tavern, which was built along a stagecoach route on Route 413 above Wrightstown in central Bucks County.

The sellers on that day - Jan. 11, 1989 - were Hugh, Jack, and Joe Turner, so Abruzzese decided to call it Turner Brothers' Day. This year, son and executive chef Drew Abruzzese  decided to turn back the clock and offer diners a handful of menu items at 1989 prices during lunch service from Jan. 11 through Jan. 31.

Menu items include snapper soup for $1.75; half-pound cheeseburgers for $3.75; fried chicken & coleslaw for $4.75; pork roll & cheese sandwiches for $3.25; crab cakes, fries & coleslaw for $4.75.
