For those counting at home, that's 10 days, opposed to the traditional 12 days (two full weeks minus the Saturdays).

One-hundred twenty-two restaurants are on board for Center City District Restaurant Week, which will run from Sept. 10-19 with a slate of three-course dinners for $35 and, in many cases, lunch deals for $20.

For those counting at home, that's 10 days, opposed to the traditional 12 days (two full weeks minus the Saturdays).

Molly Albertson of the CCD explained that restaurant week is scheduled for September because the participating restaurants have identified it a traditionally slow time.

But the semiannual promotion is running up against the Jewish holidays, which begin at sundown Sept. 20, so it has been truncated.
