Tria Fitler Square to host farewell party

An Aug. 28 finale has been set for Tria Cafe Fitler Square, which opened in April 2015 at 23rd and Pine Streets.

Owners are focusing on the rest of the Tria empire as well as opening Tria Wine Garden, a partnership with Avram Hornik that will yield a large patio at 31 S. 18th St. in spring 2018.

The Tria location will go out with a party, at which prices on sparkling wine, select cheeses and draft beer will be discounted. Management also will donate 20 percent of proceeds from the evening to the NAACP and Anti-Defamation League, with a $2,000 goal.

Discounts on select items are planned all weekend.

The building, meanwhile, has been sold.
