WWE superstar Emma arrested Monday, sentenced to one day of community service

UPDATE: Emma, real name Tenille Dashwood, was arrested Monday for allegedly stealing an iPad Mini case from a Walmart in Hartford, Conn., according to a report from TMZ.com.

The case was on sale for $21.14. According to Dashwood's lawyer, the incident was an honest mistake, as she simply forgot to pay for the case while going through the self-checkout line.

Honest mistake or not Dashwood will still serve her debt to society in the form of one day of community service. She was handed the sentence during her court appearance Tuesday.

WWE superstar Emma, whose real name is Tenille Averil Dashwood, was arrested and charged with sixth-degree larceny Monday afternoon in Hartford, Conn.

Although there are unconfirmed reports of what actually took place, what can be can be confirmed was that she was arrested and taken into custody by Hartford police around 1 p.m. She was released about an hour later, according to the police blotter of the Hartford Police Department.

Dashwood, 25, was in Hartford with the WWE for the latest episode of Raw. She made her debut on the WWE's main roster earlier this year.
