Congreso de Latinos Unidos, a Philadelphia nonprofit, has named Carolina Cabrera DiGiorgio president and CEO beginning in February. DiGiorgio served as board chair for two of her last seven years on the board and had been director of commerce for Montgomery County. She also was a business attorney at Stradley Ronon, where she specialized in real estate, finance, and nonprofit organizations.

She also was a business attorney at Stradley Ronon, where she specialized in real estate, finance, and nonprofit organizations.

Catapult Learning Inc., a Camden provider of K-12 contracted instructional services, has hired Chris Catalano as chief financial officer. He was a partner at the private equity firm Maxim Partners from 2009 to 2014 and served as chairman and CEO of the School of Rock.

Picwell, a Philadelphia firm whose software helps users select employer health plans, has hired Matthew Sydney as its CEO. Sydney succeeds Jay Silverstein, who will continue to serve as an adviser to the board of directors. Sydney had been executive vice president of sales at HealthEquity.

Women in Transition, a private Center City nonprofit that serves women experiencing domestic violence and substance abuse, has named Corinne Lagermasini as executive director. She succeeds Roberta L. Hacker, who retired in the fall after leading the group for nearly 30 years. Lagermasini had been prevention director for the last two years.

Timothy Pennington has been hired as vice president in the Philadelphia headquarters of the real estate company Binswanger. Pennington had been a director of the industrial real estate team at Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.

2nd Avenue Value Stores, the Philadelphia thrift-store chain, has hired Adrienne Briones-Carlson as lead retail manager. She had been community connector at Lululemon Athletica and district visual manager for Anthropologie.

JLL, a Philadelphia professional-services and investment-management firm offering specialized real estate services, has hired Brett Grifo as senior vice president, JLL Capital Markets. He had been vice president, investments, for Brandywine Realty Trust. Larry Maister, former director of leasing at Brandywine, has been hired as managing director.

Christiana Care Health System, Newark, Del., has hired Karen Y. Browne as vice president of communications and Gordon Brownlee as vice president of development. Browne had been global communications director for DuPont Performance Materials. Brownlee had been senior director of leadership philanthropy at St. Andrew's School in Middletown, Del.

Hyland Levin, Marlton, has named real estate lawyer Stacy L. Asbell partner. She had been of counsel.

Beverly A. Collins has joined Health Partners Plans, a nonprofit Philadelphia-managed health-care organization, as vice president, chief quality officer. Collins served as medical director for WellCare Health Plans, where she chaired the Quality Improvement Committee, the Utilization Management Medical Advisory Committee, and the Provider Advisory Committee.

Malvern Bancorp Inc., the parent company of Malvern Federal Savings Bank, has recruited Patricia McLennan as senior vice president and director of community development, focusing specifically on nonprofits and independent schools. She had been CEO of the Sparrow.

Delaware Trust Co., Wilmington, a wholly owned subsidiary of Corporation Service Co., said on Dec. 6 that it had finalized its acquisition of the corporate trust business of Law Debenture Trust Co. of New York. The firm named Thomas Musarra, former head of corporate trust administration for Law Debenture Trust Co. of New York, to the leadership team. He joins the senior executive team of the Delaware Trust Client Services team.

The Philadelphia office of Andersen Tax has promoted James O'Brien to managing director, from director. He has relocated from New York to lead the Private Client Services Practice Group.

Greenblatt, Pierce, Funt & Flores LLC, Philadelphia, has hired the criminal-defense attorney Richard T. Bobbe III as a senior associate. He began his career in the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office and most recently was president of Richard T. Bobbe III LLC.

Michael Marchesani has been hired as vice president, business development, at Quattro, a Berwyn multichannel marketing and advertising agency. He founded BirthdayPak and had been a consultant to Ing Direct.

Philadelphia public media provider WHYY has named Mooj Zadie as an associate producer of the radio show Fresh Air. He had been radio production manager for the podcast The Moth. Jake Blumgart and Catalina Jaramillo have been hired as reporters for PlanPhilly, which covers design, planning, and development in Philadelphia. Blumgart was a freelance reporter who contributed to Slate, the Inquirer, and Philadelphia Magazine. Jaramillo had been a correspondent for the national Chilean paper La Tercera and the New York Spanish-language daily El Diario la Prensa. Diana Lu joins PlanPhilly as engagement editor. She had been director of partnerships and outreach at Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses, a joint program of the Commerce Department and Community College of Philadelphia.

Nemours Children's Health System, Wilmington, has named Chris Manning director of Delaware Valley government relations. He joined the Delaware Health Information Network as director of external affairs before being hired by Nemours in 2011 as senior manager, public and media relations.

Daniel R. Stanek has joined the tax, trusts, and estates department of the Wilmington law firm Connolly Gallagher LLP. He had been a transfer pricing associate for KPMG's global transfer.

Mark DeYoung has been named manager of the Wayne/Strafford branch of Tompkins VIST Bank, Wyomissing. He had been vice president of business development at Sun East Federal Credit Union.

Divorce attorney Robert J. Salzer has been promoted to partner, from associate, at Williams Family Law P.C., Doylestown.

Buchanan Public Relations, Philadelphia, has promoted Nicole Lasorda to vice president of client services from assistant vice president. It also promoted Megan Keohane to account supervisor from senior account executive.

Salvatore G. Rotella Jr. has joined the health-care practice at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney P.C., Philadelphia, as a shareholder. He had been a partner with Reed Smith.

Slice Communications has promoted Michael D'Antonio to director of client services, from social-media account supervisor, and Kelley Galloway to social-media senior account manager, from social-media account manager. It also hired Elysse Ciccone as a PR account manager and Ethan Willard as office manager. Ciccone had been an assistant account executive at the Brownstein PR.
