Accolade Inc. to add 250 jobs in Plymouth Meeting

Accolade Inc., which contracts with self-insured employers and insurers to help beneficiaries navigate the health care system, will add 250 full-time jobs over the next three years in Plymouth Meeting, Gov. Wolf said Thursday.

The company already employs 541 at the Montgomery County location and will spend $2 million on the expansion. State aid includes a $500,000 Pennsylvania First grant and $500,000 in job creation tax credits to be distributed after the jobs are added, the governor's office said.

Accolade has a second headquarters in Seattle, where it employed 50 in August. The company did not respond to a request for an updated Seattle employment figure.

In August, Accolade said it had raised more than $70 million from investors led by Andreessen Horowitz, a prominent Silicon Valley venture capital firm.
