Center City law firm Saul Ewing said Wednesday that April F. Doss, chair of the firm's cybersecurity and privacy practice, has been named special counsel to the Senate Intelligence Committee investigation of thus-far unsubstantiated allegations of collusion by the Trump campaign with Russia during last year's presidential election.

Doss, a former associate general counsel for intelligence law at the National Security Agency, will be serving on the Intelligence Committee's Democratic staff.

She joined Saul Ewing one year ago. In March, Doss testified for the House Judiciary Committee on reauthorization of sections of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.
