VeryApt offers concierge apartment hunting services to renters in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Chicago, New York, Raleigh-Durham and Washington, D.C. The firm also releases annual listings of the top apartment buildings — as voted on by renters — in each city.

The Philadelphia list includes top-rated buildings largely in Center City, as well as median rents and associated keywords for each neighborhood. Responses are collected online and are targeted at Philadelphia renters. With 50 ratings in all, The Griffin, Naval Square and 1919 Market topped the local list (in that order).

Respondents at Midtown Village's The Griffin apartments pointed to the building's roof deck and amenities including around-the-clock concierge and a new fitness center. The building garnered a 9.7 rating.

Naval Square was the top-rated condo building for rentals, garnering high marks for including parking spaces and an outdoor pool.

Residents at 1919 Market in Logan Square reported the convenience of the neighborhood as their building's biggest asset, noting proximity to Center City amenities and to 30th Street Station.

The guide also lists top buildings for common amenities (The Griffin, The Granary and Summit Park came out on top), pools (Park Towne Place, The Sterling and Parc Rittenhouse, respectively) and other superlatives.
