Service has resumed on two Regional Rail lines disrupted Wednesday afternoon by a train fire.

As of 5:12 p.m., trains were running on the Warminster and Lansdale/Doylestown lines with 30 minute delays, SEPTA reported.

Problems on the lines began when a train caught fire in Glenside about 2:30 p.m. The blaze was extinguished without any injuries to passengers.

The cause of the fire was still under investigation, SEPTA reported.

The rail agency has suspended the two Regional Rail lines in both directions. There was no information Wednesday afternoon on how long the suspension would last. The agency announced that trains on the West Trenton line will stop at Melrose Park and Elkins Park until full service is restored.
