The weather may be getting warmer, but one accessory is appropriate for any outfit in any season: a fashionable scarf.

Good thing the Philadelphia Guild of Handweavers is holding its annual show, where members will have some of their gorgeous wares on display, beginning with an opening reception tonight and a closing party April 2. So, head to the guild's Manayunk residences - they're across the street from the Main Street movie theater - where you can browse the work of these talented artisans.

There are many different skills on display, including weaving, dying, spinning, knitting, and felting. And there are more than just scarves on display, like Kate O'Hara's jewelry or Eva Stossel's pillows. We're totally captivated by Hedy Lyle's mobius shawl that swirls with teals and blues and purples in what looks like an optical illusion. But those are only a few of what will be on display.

The Philadelphia Guild of Handweavers has been around since 1952. Even if you aren't in the market to buy, their show is a great excuse to see what goes on inside their halls.
