Here's what to see at Fringe on Sept. 19
Today's highlights: a Fringe-worthy play for kids and a play paired with cocktails for grownups.
What to see Tuesday night at the Fringe Festival:
7 p.m.: Aunty Ben. A play for kids (8 and up) and adults. Nine-year-old Tracy's favorite uncle is Aunty Ben, who also happens to be a drag queen. Respectful, positive, celebratory. William Way LGBT Community Center, 1315 Spruce St. 70 minutes. $20.
8 p.m.: #Cocktail Plays. Four short plays by local playwrights, performed by three actors. Each play is "paired" with a specially created cocktail. Bar opens an hour before showtime. Philadelphia Distilling, 25 E. Allen St. 70 minutes. $20. Also 6 and 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.
