John Williams returns to the Philadelphia Orchestra in April for a one-night-only concert, the orchestra announced Tuesday.

Stéphane Denève will conduct Williams' concert music in the first half, with Williams leading the orchestra in the second half with selections from his film scores, including Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, and Star Wars. The April 18 concert in Verizon Hall — for which Williams, Denève, and the orchestra musicians are donating their services — is to benefit the Philadelphia Orchestra musicians' pension fund. Repertoire also includes Williams' Concerto for Tuba and Orchestra, with orchestra principal tuba player Carol Jantsch.

Tickets are on sale for subscribers immediately, and for others at an unspecified later date. Prices range from $76 to $250, with premium tickets beginning at $500 that include a preconcert event. Sponsorships begin at $5,000 and feature the opportunity to sit on stage during the rehearsal for the program.
