A former CSN anchor will help lead sports programming in a newly formed unit at local independent production company the WorkShop.
Neil Hartman has joined the company as vice president of sports programming in the WorkShop's Sports Content Division, where he will oversee content development, according to a news release. The WorkShop is in Radnor, Delaware County.
Prior to his new gig, Hartman spent about 18 years at CSN as a sportscaster, earning several Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards. In addition to his work at CSN, Hartman has been a sports reporter at local stations including KYW and WPHL, and on the radio at WIP-FM (94.1) and WPHT-AM (1210).
"Neil brings us his vast on-air anchor insights as to what drives sports viewers to tune in and lean in beyond the actual games themselves," WorkShop CEO Tom Farrell said in a release.
