Philly-shot Kevin Hart/Bryan Cranston movie gets a new title

The Kevin Hart/Bryan Cranston remake of the 2011 French film The Intouchables has gotten a new name ahead of its early 2018 release date.
The Weinstein Company this week announced that the movie, formerly called Untouchable, will now be known as The Upside, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The Upside was shot partially in Philadelphia. Hart and Cranston were spotted filming around town. While in Philly shooting the film, Hart also played several surprise stand-up dates, while Cranston took in a Sixers game and messed with a TMZ cameraman.
Released in 2011, The Intouchables earned more than $400 million at the box office worldwide. The film, a comedy-drama that starred Omar Sy and Francois Cluzet, tells the story of a wealthy man (Cluzet) who becomes a quadriplegic following a paragliding accident and must hire another man (Sy) as a live-in caregiver.
The Hart/Cranston remake retells the story; Cranston takes on the role of the wealthy man, and Hart is his caregiver. The film also features Nicole Kidman, Julianna Margulies, and Aja Naomi King. It's directed by Neil Burger, who is no stranger to shooting in Philadelphia after helming Limitless with Bradley Cooper here in 2010.
The Upside will open March 9, going up against Disney's upcoming A Wrinkle in Time.
