Sylvester Stallone has denied a report alleging that he sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl in 1986 in Las Vegas.

A story in the Daily Mail cites  a 1986 police report in which the unnamed teen alleged that Stallone, then 40, forced her into a threesome with his bodyguard Mike De Luca, who was 27 at the time. De Luca was killed by police during a traffic stop in 2013 in California.

"This is a ridiculous, categorically false story. No one was ever aware of this story until it was published today, including Mr. Stallone," the Rocky star's spokeswoman  Michelle Bega said in a statement. "At no time was Mr. Stallone ever contacted by authorities or anyone regarding this matter."

The alleged assault occurred at the Las Vegas Hilton in July while  Stallone was in the city filming the arm-wrestling drama Over the Top. According to the Daily Mail article, after meeting the actor, the teen told police she asked for his autograph, as well as a kiss on the cheek. Stallone allegedly told her he would give her a kiss she "would not forget."

The next  day, the teen says, she returned to where Stallone had been filming and met with De Luca. The bodyguard allegedly asked her what she would do if Stallone made a pass at her, to which she replied, "I would probably make a pass back at him," which prompted De Luca to give her keys the actor's room, according to the article.

The teen told police she went to Stallone's room that night and met him  and De Luca in the hallway. After entering the room, she alleges she and Stallone went to the bedroom and began having sex. Stallone then reportedly asked her whether  she'd ever had sex with two men, and she said she hadn't. Stallone  then brought De Luca into the room and allegedly forced the girl into a threesome without her consent, according to the article.

After the alleged assault, the teen claims  Stallone told her he would "beat her head in" if she told anyone about it, the article said.

The teen told police that although she consented to sex with Stallone (the age of consent is 16 in Nevada), she did not agree to have sex with De Luca but believed she had no choice in the situation. She did not press charges, telling police she was scared and humiliated, and she signed a "no prosecution" form, the Daily Mail reported.

According to TMZ, police and prosecutors sometimes pursue sexual-assault cases without the alleged victim's cooperation if a minor is involved. However, Las Vegas police told the website they were unable to proceed with an investigation at the time because the teen refused to cooperate and move forward with charges.

Stallone is slated to direct Creed II, the follow-up to 2015's Rocky sequel Creed, starting next year.
