'This Week in Pro Football' to return to WPEN 97.5 The Fanatic with new cohost next month

Geoff Mosher is the new cohost

WPEN 97.5 The Fanatic's popular This Week in Pro Football program will return to the airwaves next month with a new cohost.

Award-winning sports reporter Geoff Mosher will replace former cohost Tim McManus, who left the program last year after more than a decade on the air to cover the Eagles for ESPN.com. Pat Callahan will continue as host.

Mosher has more than 20 years of sports reporting experience and formerly wrote for the Wilmington News Journal and Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia, and he served as an Eagles analyst for the NFL Network, ESPN, and other stations. He joined the Fanatic as an on-air host in 2015.

"I'm thrilled to have a seasoned pro like Geoff Mosher joining TWIPF for the coming season, and hopefully many seasons to come,"  Callahan said. "I think his unique perspective and deep knowledge of football will be a strong addition to the program."

Mosher, meanwhile, said TWIPF is "one of the best football shows on radio."

"I'm proud to partner with Pat and become part of the TWIPF tradition," he added.

This Week in Pro Football airs weekly  from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. It will return to the station on Sept. 9.
