Damascene Pierre Paul, 51, spent years traveling the world managing Patti LaBelle. These days, he manages Frank Lucas, the legendary former Harlem drug dealer whose life was portrayed in the 2007 Denzel Washington film, American Gangster.  Damascene is also involved with a nonprofit football team in West Oak Lane called the Philadelphia Panthers that is part of the LaBelle Community Football League. He keeps his himself physically and spiritually in shape by running, doing martial arts, coaching football and meditating. "I am a grateful, humble man who sincerely cares about people and who has allergies to negative situations," he says.
