The 90th Academy Awards air Sunday, so film buffs have only a scant amount of time to get caught up on this year's nominated films.

This year's nominations feature 60 films, from dramas and comedies to animated films and foreign fare. While some are recent releases, many are available via stream or digital download, meaning you don't even have to leave your house to be well-versed on this year's nominees.

Here, we've broken down where to check out some of the biggest Oscar-nominated films for 2018 online if you happened to miss them in theaters. Just don't sleep on it too much longer — we'll find out the winners soon enough.

The Shape of Water

Guillermo del Toro's latest monster-focused flick earned 13 nominations, including best picture, original screenplay, lead actress, and original score.

A mother's quest for justice for her murdered daughter escalates in Martin McDonagh's latest, which is up for seven awards including best picture, lead actress (Frances McDormand), supporting actor (Sam Rockwell), and film editing.

Lady Bird

Darkest Hour

Icarus

If you've been obsessed with the Winter Olympics, this could wean you off the games. This documentary about cycling led to the expulsion of Russia from the 2018 Winter Olympics because of a doping scandal. The film is nominated for best feature documentary.

Abacus: Small Enough to Jail

Steve James (Hoop Dreams) is always a treat. Here, he zeroes in on the small Manhattan bank that largely serves Chinatown. Its founders were brought up on charges in the wake of the subprime mortgage crisis in 2008. But was this family-owned business a scapegoat?
