If you like a side of mushrooms with your nostalgia, Kennett Square will be the place to be next month.

Alternative rockers 10,000 Maniacs are scheduled to perform at this year's Mushroom Festival at 8 p.m.  Sept. 9, according to a release. Tickets run $40 for general admission and $65 for VIP access, and are available now. Festival admission is $3.

Alt-rock fans may remember 10,000 Maniacs from their hits "These Are the Days" and "Like the Weather." The group this year celebrates the 30th anniversary of their breakthrough album, In My Tribe, which was released in July 1987.

As part of that celebration, the band will perform a majority of tracks from the album at the festival, a release states.

Most recently, 10,000 Maniacs released Twice Told Tales, their ninth studio album, in 2015. A compilation album, it consists of modern renditions of traditional British folk songs.
