Patti LaBelle, Jill Scott, and others honored at Philly Music Walk of Fame

There was a lot of musical talent on Broad Street on Wednesday, as the Philadelphia Music Walk of Fame added a number of plaques to the street.

This year's Philadelphia Music Alliance honorees include performers Patti LaBelle and her Labelle group members Sarah Dash and Nona Hendryx, Jill Scott, Sister Sledge, McFadden & Whitehead, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, and the Soul Survivors. Also being feted were Chris Schwartz and Joe Nicolo of Ruffhouse Records and 98.1 WOGL host Bob Pantano.

Kimmel Center president Anne Ewers received the the alliance's Platinum Award for outstanding contribution to the Philadelphia music community.
