With Made In America behind him, Jay-Z adds a Philly show

Did you miss your chance to stand in the mud with 61,000 other Budweiser Made in America attendees and see Jay-Z close out the sixth annual version of his Philadelphia festival on Sunday night? (If so, read all about it here.)

Or maybe even better, go see him Dec. 1 at the Wells Fargo Center. In July, the rapper born Shawn Carter announced a full-scale North America arena tour in support of his new album, 4:44. After a few more festival dates, the tour begins in earnest on Oct. 27 in Anaheim, Calif. But until Thursday, there was one glaring omission on that itinerary: No Philly show!

Now with Made in America in the rearview mirror, the danger of a later arena date cannibalizing the fest's ticket sales is gone, and, predictably, a proper Philadelphia show has been announced. General public tickets go on sale at noon Sept. 15 at LiveNation.com, though there's also a presale that starts at 10 a.m. Monday for Citi credit card holders only.
