Homeland.  Sixth season of the perpetually tense spy drama ends with an episode titled "America First." What I want to know: Will Carrie (Claire Danes) get her daughter back? Will President-elect Elizabeth Keane (Elizabeth Marvel) ever be sworn in? Or will the fake-news forces and the "dark state" others allied against her somehow win? 9 p.m. Sunday, Showtime.

Sesame Street.  As the long-running children's program introduces Julia, a Muppet with autism, to the cast, HBO is making the episode available to PBS stations on the same day, without  the usual nine-month delay.  8 a.m. Monday, HBO, and 10:30 a.m. Monday, WHYY12.

The Great War: American Experience. DVR alert: Three-night, six-hour history of World War I is told through the individuals' stories, including some whose experiences haven't always been acknowledged. 9 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, WHYY12.

Better Call Saul.  Bob Odenkirk returns as ethics-challenged lawyer Jimmy  McGill, who in some too rapidly approaching future will become Breaking Bad's Saul Goodman.  This season also gives us our first backward look at Bad's Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) with his face — and the rest of him —still intact. Note: Third-season premiere runs about an hour, 10 minutes. 10 p.m. Monday, AMC.

Switched at Birth. After five seasons, the Peabody Award-winning drama that celebrated deaf culture through the story of two girls, one of them deaf, who were raised in each other's families, comes to an end in an emotional 91-minute finale that hits all the right notes. 9 p.m. Tuesday, Freeform.

Underground. Note the earlier time for an episode showcasing Aisha Hinds' role as Harriet Tubman. 8 p.m. Wednesday, WGN America.

Fortitude. Dennis Quaid joins the cast for the second season of one of television's iciest thrillers, set near the Arctic Circle.  Friday, Amazon Prime.
