She's back.

Paige Davis, the perky actress and TV host who once made it seem perfectly OK that neighbors should have a say in decorating rooms in one another's homes, will again host Trading Spaces when it returns to TLC next year, the cable network announced Wednesday.

Trading Spaces is based on a British show, Changing Rooms, and was at one point produced by Philadelphia's Banyan Productions. (Davis was born in Philadelphia, but grew up elsewhere.) The show, which now is produced by Endemol Shine North America subsidiary Authentic Entertainment,  helped to fuel a TV home-decor craze that was as big in the early 2000s as tiny house shows are today, and made a star of hyperactive carpenter Ty Pennington, who went on to host ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

This will be Davis' second return to the show: She was let go in 2005, returning in 2008 for a season before the show was canceled. The actress also last year returned to another familiar role: Roxie Hart in Broadway's Chicago. Since leaving Trading Spaces, she's also hosted Hallmark's Home and Family and OWN's Home Made Simple.
