La Colombe now has its own tea

Philadelphia's best-known coffee roaster is now in the tea business: La Colombe has a new line of teas and tisanes (that is, herbal teas), available in single servings in its cafes, as well as packaged in sachets for sale. Its organic, Chinese-grown black tea isn't cheap - but it's quality stuff, and the sachets of whole-leaf tea are meant to stand up to a second steeping.

A sweet salad bowl

The latest name brand to collaborate with Target: Dwell magazine. The resulting collection of housewares is modern, sleek, and moderately priced. We like the bamboo salad bowl with white rim and matching, white-tipped bamboo servers.
