Two men were killed Monday night in separate shootings in Philadelphia, police said.

The first shooting happened about 6:30 p.m. on the 2900 block of Oakford Street in Grays Ferry. Police said a 21-year-old man was shot once in the back by someone inside an unidentified vehicle. Paramedics took him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 7. His name has not been released.

The second shooting took place on the 4000 block of Lancaster Avenue, West Philadelphia, at 8:26 p.m. A 30-year-old man was shot in the face, left arm and chest. He, too, was taken to Penn Presbyterian, where he died 20 minutes later. Police identified him Tuesday as Lee Malik Jones of the 1300 block of South 48th Street in Southwest Philadelphia.
