Five people wounded in drive-by shooting in Chester
Shortly after 8 p.m., police and medics were called to the unit block of East 21st Street to respond to a shooting.
Five people were wounded in a drive-by shooting Friday night in Chester, police said.
All the victims were reported in stable condition at Crozer-Chester Medical Center.
Police said about 8 p.m., the five were wounded when gunfire came from a car headed east on East 21st Street at Edgmont Avenue.
A 21-year-old man was shot four times, a 30-year-old man was hit once in the leg, a 31-year-old man was wounded twice in the back, a 22-year-old-man was struck in the left leg and a 44-year-old woman sitting a car suffered facial injuries from shattered glass, police said.
Police, who were looking for the vehicle and its occupants, did not disclose if they have established a possible motive for the shooting.
