Kensington shooting leaves man in critical condition

A man is fighting for his life after he was shot in Kensington early Sunday morning, according to police.

A man is fighting for his life after he was shot in Kensington early Sunday morning, according to police.

The victim, a 27-year-old man whose identity has not been released, was shot once in the stomach while on the 3200 block of Frankford Avenue around 12:08 a.m., police said.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Authorities continue to search for a motive and a suspect in the case.
