Woman repeatedly stabbed in Kensington

A suspect was arrested but has not yet been identified by police.

A woman was listed in critical but stable condition after she was stabbed inside of a Kensington house on Sunday afternoon, police said.

The 35-year-old victim was found suffering from four stab wounds inside of a residence on the 3300 block of Potter Street shortly after 2 p.m., according to authorities.

She was taken to Temple University Hospital, where she was listed in critical but stable condition, police said. Her identity has not been released.

An arrest was made in the case and a weapon was recovered, but police have not yet released the name of the suspect or a possible motive for the assault.
