Philly police: 4 wounded in 2 double shootings
Police were investigating double shootings in West Oak Lane and Southwest Philadelphia.
Four men were wounded in two double shootings in the city Wednesday night, police said.
Shortly before 7 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting in the 6600 block of Ogontz Avenue in West Oak Lane. A 26-year-old man was shot in the head, twice in the shoulder, and once in the arm. A 24-year-old man was shot twice in the arm. Police took both to Einstein Medical Center, where they were listed in critical condition.
Later, a double shooting was reported in the 2600 block of Hobson Street in Southwest Philadelphia. A 48-year-old man was shot in the left side of the face and left arm. A 20-year-old man was shot once in the face. Both were taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where they were placed in stable condition.
No arrests were reported in either case.
