Woman, 25, fatally shot in North Philly

A 25-year-old woman was shot dead late Wednesday afternoon in a North Philadelphia rowhouse, police said.

The victim, identified as Amber Therese Jackson, was shot in the head about 5:15 p.m. inside her home in the 1500 block of West Oakdale Street. She was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.

Police were searching for a 21-year-old suspect, whom they did not identify.
