One person was killed and another airlifted to a local hospital Friday afternoon when an eastbound NJ Transit train crashed with a vehicle on the Atlantic City Rail Line.
The accident happened about 4:20 p.m., and service was temporarily suspended in both directions between Atco and Egg Harbor, the agency said. No further details, including the gender of the victims and what caused the accident, were immediately available.
