Davidson (11-9, 6-3) scored the first 13 points of the game and never looked back, building a lead as large as 25. The Wildcats made nine of their first 12 from three-point range and finished the first half shooting 52 percent.

La Salle's B.J. Johnson (Lower Merion) had 20 points and freshman Jamir Moultrie added 19 for the Explorers, who fell to 9-13 overall and 3-6 in the A-10.

A dunk from Johnson to start the second half drew La Salle to within 15, but Davidson was able to push the lead back to 20 thanks to a 7-0 run. Grady had the final four points of the spurt and had 18 of his points in the second half.

From there, the Explorers never got to within striking distance despite the best efforts from Moultrie, who connected on five three-pointers, with four in the second half.
