Penn kicker Jack Soslow is Ivy League special-teams player of the week

The senior kicked two field goals and four extra points in the win over Bucknell.

Penn picked up its a victory by beating Bucknell, 34-17, in its season opener, and for his role in the win, senior placekicker Jack Soslow was named Ivy League special-teams player of the week.

Soslow made both of his field-goal attempts, connecting from 49 and 48 yards and becoming the first kicker in FCS to have two field goals of 48 yards or more thus far this season.

Soslow, who attended the Haverford School, made four extra-point kicks to extend his consecutive streak to 40.

He was one of 13 players named as honorable mention FCS national offensive players of the week.
