Three Penn State players received Big Ten Conference and national honors following Saturday night's 42-13 victory by the second-ranked Nittany Lions over No. 19 Michigan.
Saquon Barkley was named Big Ten offensive player of the week for the third time this season. Barkley rushed for 108 yards and two touchdowns, and caught three passes for 53 yards and a score against the Wolverines.
Barkley also was named to the Paul Hornung Award's weekly honor roll.
Senior linebacker Jason Cabinda was named co-defensive player of the week in the Big Ten after contributing a game-high 13 tackles and a forced fumble against the Wolverines.
Redshirt junior quarterback Trace McSorley, who threw for 282 yards and one touchdown, and ran for 76 yards and three scores, was named offensive player of the week by the Walter Camp Football Foundation.
