Check back here for position-by-position breakdowns of the Temple depth chart leading up to the start of the 2018 season.

We previewed the quarterbacks, the receivers and tight ends, the running backsthe linebackers, the defensive backs, the offensive line and special teams. Here are the Owls' main defensive-line candidates:

Michael Dogbe

6-3, 280, Grad., Morris Plains, N.J.

Dogbe drew plenty of buzz this offseason when he bench-pressed 505 pounds. He also has bench-pressed 225 pounds 37 times, which should make NFL teams take notice. Dogbe has played 41 games, making 14 starts. Six of those starts came last year. He is primed to have a much bigger role this year, both on the field and as one of the leaders.

Freddie Booth-Lloyd

6-1, 330, R-Sr., Cocoa, Fla.

Booth-Lloyd won't make a lot of tackles, but he occupies plenty of blockers and makes it difficult for opponents to run up the middle. He has also seen time as a goal-line fullback, one whom nobody should relish tackling.

Dan Archibong

6-6, 285, R-So., Springfield

A product of Springfield, Delaware County, Archibong can play inside or outside, but he will be at tackle to make use of his quickness. He made 10 starts and had 20 tackles and two sacks last year. An outstanding athlete, he worked during the spring as a tight end.

Karamo Dioubate

6-3, 295, Jr., Philadelphia

The Prep Charter graduate was one of the most highly touted recruits in recent Temple history. He appeared in 12 games and made four tackles last season, and his role is expected to expand significantly. He was cited early in camp by coaches for his improved play.

Quincy Roche

6-4, 215 R-So., Randallstown, Md.

Roche is the Owls' leading returning sacker with seven. He got three of them in a 29-21 win over Massachusetts. Like Temple's recent defensive ends, Roche has a quick burst coming off the edge.

Dana Levine

6-4, 230, R-Jr, Hallandale Beach, Fla.

A defensive end similar to Roche, Levine had 25 tackles and two sacks last season. With the graduation of ends Jacob Martin and Sharif Finch, Levine is expected to have a much greater role.

DeAndre Kelly

6-1, 255, R-Jr., Hyattsville, Md.

He made one start at defensive end last year and is expected to have a much greater role.

Jimmy Hogan

6-4, 265, Grad., Wycoff, N.J.

A graduate transfer from Rutgers, Hogan appeared in 22 career games for the Scarlet Knights, including three last year. The coaches and players have been impressed with how quickly Hogan has picked up the defensive system.
