How to buy Eagles-Vikings NFC Championship tickets

The face-value tickets that were available through Ticketmaster for the NFC championship game appeared to sell out within 10 minutes Tuesday morning.

The quick sell-out leaves the secondary ticket market as the best option for scoring a seat (or even just a place to stand) for Sunday's match-up between the Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings at Lincoln Financial Field. The NFL has an official ticket exchange market, where standing-room-only tickets are being listed for more than double their face value as of Tuesday morning.

The Eagles clinched a dramatic 15-10 win over the Atlanta Falcons on Saturday night, ensuring that one final game would be played in South Philly. The Eagles will host the Vikings (who won in even more dramatic fashion) for the conference championship game, which is slated to start at 6:40 p.m. on Sunday.

Prices for the seats available through Ticketmaster, which went on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday, ranged from $135 for standing room only, or $170 to $255 for actual seats. As of early Monday afternoon, the cheapest ticket for a seat on third-party ticket site Stubhub was $399, not including fees. With the Eagles just one win away from the Super Bowl, the prices will probably continue to rise.

For those not willing to pay up for a seat at the Linc, the game will be aired nationally on Fox.

Despite the home-field advantage, the Eagles are entering the game as the underdogs.
